Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. She was best known for the role of Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) as well as Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton on the feature film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples' parents Wendy & Ashley have raised her within Lake Mary Florida. There is also an older sister, Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School, in which she was the valedictory speech of the class of 2012. Harvard University admitted her, however, she was required to vote on her entry again the second time due to her Nashville performance. Peeples starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally And Ally and Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and NecessaryRoughness (1991) as guest star. She was in two made-for-television movies, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She played Layla Grant, a major character from The Good Mother, a Nashville second season of the drama. Peeples opened up about bipolar in an interview for 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire has named Peeples among the most skilled actors who are under the age of 20 in September 2014.
